Wolfram SystemModeler

INSTRUCTOR-LED COURSE

Wolfram SystemModeler: An Introduction

Introduces the basic features needed to become an adept user of Wolfram SystemModeler, including drag-and-drop modeling, creating components, simulating models and visualizing simulation results. The course also covers integrating Wolfram SystemModeler and Mathematica, using Wolfram SystemModeler Link. This course is helpful for people with little SystemModeler experience, as well as for experienced users who would like to broaden their basic understanding of the system. Small class sizes allow for interaction with the instructor, and in-person courses have extra time for Q&A.

Outline

Drag-and-Drop Modeling

Instruction about working with libraries, connecting components, adding and setting parameters, simulating models, plotting variables, creating new components, modeling multi body systems and adding CAD shapes.

Mathematica and SystemModeler

Using Wolfram SystemModeler Link, running simulations from Mathematica, parallel simulation, sensitivity analysis and model calibration.

The Modelica Language

Learn the principles of Modelica, the underlying modeling language in SystemModeler; equation-based, acausal modeling and block-based modeling; creating components from equations; built-in types and syntax.
